WHAT WE DO

The Mission currently distributes over 5,500 nutritious meals each month. Many of the Mission's guests come from food-challenged households. The majority of these households include children or seniors on limited incomes. Guests often rely on the meals, and groceries, distributed at the Mission to meet their nutritional needs.

In addition to the meal program, UGM operates the Mission Heights, located upstairs of the dining hall. The Mission Heights provides deeply affordable, community housing to people of all different backgrounds. Upon arrival, residents are provided with a warm bed, stocked kitchen, free laundry and more.

The Mission provides a host of additional supportive resources. Children, seniors and families visit the Mission each day to access warm clothing, personal hygiene essentials. The Mission also has an onsite Outreach Coordinator available. The role of this position is to provide a person-centered, welcoming approach to encourage UGM guests to engage in care coordination services. Free, professional assistance is provided to guests to assist with accessing local programming and resources on an as needed basis.
